The Greatest Economists of All Time

leave a comment »

Ranking the greatest economist of all time is difficult. Some reputable media such as Economist, use the term influential instead of greatest. Some other media used pooling, due to easier to measure the subjectivy. Even using Nobel prize, which unlike Physics and Chemistry, Nobel Prize in Economics and of course Peace is controversial.

So my made my own ranking, based on other’s ranking (see the code rank), and I limit it to 33 economist of all time. There are similar ranking but for recent economist in REPEC.org
