The purpose of running

I start to realize, the purpose of running is not for competition. It is also not to prove ourselves that we can defeated challenge, not to prove ourselves that we can be disciplied, have commitment with something, or simply have purposes. The purpose of running is not something that people said “running of something”. The purpose of running is simply to have fun, a meditation, a time where you spent with yourself, everyday 1-2 hours. The purpose of running is meditation, relaxation, knowing that we can escape, whatever life treat us.

However, even we use running as meditation, certain measurement is still required. The same as if we think our life is a journey travel around the world, we have a certain physical measurement like money, age, works. The same with running, the measurement is cortisol level, endorphins level and all hormones related with physical exercise.
