ERP Energy Risk Professional Certification
Energy Risk Professional (ERP) is a relatively new Risk Management certification. I think the oldest known ERP certification is around 2010 ref. However, they change into two-part examination in 2016. Myself, I think I heard this certification around 2016, which I think to align with my focus on energy development. However, if there is some employer for ERP, I think the closest one is electricity ref, I don’t think it will be performed well in the financial market industry.
I try to test the first 20 question, and only get around 35% score. Some key points of this test
– never heard term: Geometric Brownian motion, Black–Scholes model
– concept: derivative trading, contract, option, credit rating
The reasons I am not taking this ERP exam:
- Unflexible time (May and Nov only)
- Price to expensive
- Exam location in London (need hotel and further transport expense).
Let see, maybe one day, I will perform this exam.
