Mengapa Computational Energy Economy itu susah:

1.Perbedaan antara produksi crude dengan throughput crude oil (refinery), concern orang lingkungan, berhubungan dengan emisi
– Throughput of Crude Oil (kt/year): 62,434 ktoe (refer to Refinery data)
– Production of Conventional Oil (IEA): 46,574 ktoe

2.Perbedaaan antara fuel subsidy dan non subsidy, concern orang ekonomi.

3.Perbedaan antara mass vs volume
Konsumsi BBM semisal, tahun 2013, 263 juta BOE (SBM) atau sekitar 35.888 MTOE atau sekitar 42 juta KL.

4.Perbedaan state of matter: padat, cair, gas, (plasma)
Coal hitungannya adalah 1000 ton coal, ekuivalen dengan 700 ton of oil.
